To the British government it is very important for them to establish that the marriage is still valid and is not in the process of being terminated or terminated. A letter from the husband can be sufficient proof to establish that the marriage exists and is still valid. This letter should have the most recent date confirming the existence of the marriage and that it is still valid and had not been terminated or is in the process of being terminated.
The following documents may also be submitted as a supportive proof of the subsistence of the marriage:
- Any print outs of emails sent by the the husband to the wife.
- Any letters written by the husband to the wife.
- Greeting cards sent by the husband to the wife.
- Phone Bills containing the telephone number of the wife as a proof that there is still a contact between the two.
